2-Day Yong Maeng Jong Jin Retreat Saturday and Sunday June 4-5 with Zen Master Bon Shim

Yong Maeng Jong Jin retreats are two, three or seven days and held in silence. The daily schedule consists of ten hours of Zen practice (bowing, chanting, sitting and walking), work and rest periods, and vegetarian meals eaten in traditional temple style. Includes talks and kong-an teaching interviews with a zen teacher. Minimum participation is 24 hours. For more detailed information, read Yong Maeng Jong Jin Orientation Guide (pdf format). Prior meditation experience at a meditation instruction class is recommended.
Yong Maeng Jong Jin means to “Leap like a tiger while sitting.”
Retreat entries: Saturday and Sunday at 8:00am and orientation at 8:15am
This silent retreat ends on Sunday at 3:30 pm
Sitting and walking meditation, formal meals, work practice, and kong-an teaching interviews with Zen Master Bon Shim.
